Coulter slurs John Edwards...

  1. she is pure scum... no wonder Fox loves the *****.
  2. So in what way does she negatively impact conservatives such as yourself?

What ideals does she hold that are in direct conflict with conservative ideals?
  3. Former Senator and Democratic presidential hopeful John Edwards is hoping to use right wing pundit Ann Coulter's use of the word "faggot" in remarks about him to raise "Coulter cash." The incident at this year's Conservative Political Action Conference has sparked a flurry of criticism.

In a mass email sent to supporters today, Edwards Campaign Manager David Bonoir argued that "this is just a taste of the filth that the right-wing machine is gearing up to throw at us" and set a fundraising goal of $100,000 this week.

The email, in its entirety, follows:

    Dear [Supporter],

Did you hear about Anne Coulter's speech this afternoon attacking John? A friend just forwarded me the video and it's one of the worst moments in American politics I've seen.

I can't bring myself to even repeat her comments. Her shameless display of bigotry is so outrageous you actually have to see for yourself to believe it.

This is just a taste of the filth that the right-wing machine is gearing up to throw at us. And now that it's begun, we have a choice: Do we sit back, or do we fight back?

I say we fight. Help us raise $100,000 in "Coulter Cash" this week to show every would-be Republican mouthpiece that their bigoted attacks will not intimidate this campaign. I just threw in 100 bucks. Will you join me? Just click here.

Coulter's attack was no accident. It happened on national television at one of the year's biggest conservative conferences. Dick Cheney and most of the Republican candidates were in the audience. She was even introduced by Mitt Romney.

John was singled out for a personal attack because the Republican establishment knows he poses the greatest threat to their power. Since they have nothing real to use against him, Coulter's resorting to the classic right-wing strategy of riling up hate to smear a progressive champion. And the Republican attack dogs will keep playing this despicable trick as long as they think it works.

But this time, you and I can change the game.

If we can raise $100,000 in "Coulter Cash" this week, we can show that bigotry will only backfire on those who use it. John is not the first progressive leader to face this kind of slime, but together, we can make sure he is one of the last.

Tonight, I've put in 100 bucks of "Coulter Cash" to get us started. Can you match me, or chip in whatever you can afford? Just click here:

  4. she is a neocon whore... she supported the illegal invasion of iraq. i dont care if she is right on some conservative issues, she routinely ridicules anyone that wants the truth about 9/11. what did she say regarding the 9/11 widows? "These broads are millionaires, lionized on TV and in articles about them, reveling in their status as celebrities and stalked by griefparrazies. I have never seen people enjoying their husband’s death so much."

    next witness.
  5. Jesus - an actual, well thought answer for a change !!

But are you basing your dislike for her solely on the basis of your 9/11 beliefs?

Even though I too, have always been against the Iraq War, what makes it illegal, when Congress voted to back it?
  6. I don't see either party as wearing halos.

There is no such thing as "all my left wing progressives" so you can let go of that delusion.

The situation is, and has been for quite some time, the evil of two lessors.

I opt for the lessor of the two, which right now is the party that opposes the war in Iraq.

  7. Does anyone believe this is how Zzz actually sees politics, I doubt it.
  8. Have you seen any of my posts prior to the Bush administration?

Have you seen me telling others how great John Kerry was?

What is my position on illegal immigration?

Giving women the right to choose is libertarian.

I don't support spying on Americans, which is also libertarian.

Geez, the non thinkers here are in great abundance...

How absurd that people have to be cookie cutter thinkers...
