  1. unfortunatly most don't recognise the importance of chess in trading. Susan Polgar, one of the grand masters in todays match is all about pattern recognition.

  6. gary made a good comment that consensus play on part of world may introduce some inconsistencies in the game. also magnus playing white favours him.

  7. the world should try to turn the game into a tactical shootout. the world will have the advantage in this scenario given access to engines and short thinking time.

    The moves don't show up consistanty. The apps are very unstable. I have been able to vote only like 30% of the time.

    I hope the game goes into a very complex endgame actually, although Carlsen knows that if it does reach an endgame, theory favors white.

    The game lacks the typical dynamism that is characteristic of modern games. White has an edge, although nowhere near winning.
