i remember volitilty dried up and stocks did'nt move. stocks would move maybe .30 cents,it was crazy.

The first 3 months of 2001 were incredible trading. It wasn't until April when the markets went fully to decimals that volatility and volume dried up. 2002 was a much worse year for trading than 2001.
