could this market get like 2001?

    i remember volitilty dried up and stocks did'nt move. stocks would move maybe .30 cents,it was crazy.

    Do you mean 2003-2006? If volatility dried up in 2001, that phase sure didn't last long.

    any trader worth his salt likes volatility

    but a LACK of volatility for a decade even would not shut such a trader down

    it would simply reduce his profits assuming he reached liquidity saturation

    c'mon man.i know volitility his extreme now,i'm talkin in a few months. i remember back then on 01 when stocks were stiuck in the mudd.

  7. another 500 poitn rally today? no bad news at all. nothing but fake crdit crisis and mental recession. up we go. buy all you can and do nothing.

    IWM is up over 1%.
     
  9. The first 3 months of 2001 were incredible trading.

    It wasn't until April when the markets went fully to decimals that volatility and volume dried up.

    2002 was a much worse year for trading than 2001.
