The way that everybody is talking it's as if all of sudden UK is going to become a 3rd world country as soon as it leaves EU. LOL Just a minute ago when it's still in EU, it's still paying into EU to prop up like 20+ of its member countries but all of sudden once it's out of EU, it's going to become so poor that it's going to need bailout? LOL People, it's still Great Britain!!! Like I said it's going to be impacted a bit by the Brexit but it's not going to be OMG!! Armageddon end of the world for Britain. Of course if you bought a bunch of puts then yeah you want to do this doomsday pumping a bit so everybody goes out and buy puts to make them go higher but in reality if everybody is prepared for what's going to come in March, everybody will be prepared and there is not going to be this panic chaos. But even If everybody panics and shorts the GBP that's gonna be even better, GBP is going to be so cheap that it's going to give UK's exports such a boost that UK might end up doing better than when it was in EU. And in actuality, UK is actually a net importer which means it imports from more than it exports to guess who? Yes EU!! So a cheap GBP is going to discourage UK from importing from EU and since EU exports more to UK than importing from it, guess who will actually lose when UK all of sudden exits from EU with no deal? LOL And since UK doesn't export that much so it won't be facing that much tariffs from other countries and yet it's going to be able to set up tariffs against other countries for imports. And experts are already predicting that with a no-deal, Brexit is actually going to benefit local UK businesses who would be able to enjoy a revenue boost due to lack of competition. So if I were to trade the UK market, I would long in UK local businesses shares because their shares will be going up quite nicely after Brexit. No the solution is NOT to print more money because all that does is just to result in hyperinflation like what happened to Germany after WWI and what's happening now in Venezeula. No, the key for UK to come out on top from this Brexit is do like what Japan did after WWII and what China did and still does right now, increase productivity, to work your a$$ off!! This is what Britain did in the Industrial Revolution with the advent of steam-powered machines and that's what put Britain on top of the world and this is what Britain would have to do again this time. That's one route Britain can go and that's not the only route Britain can go. Alternatively Britain can choose to go the other route of actually relaxing to grow domestic economy with no printing of money, no working themselves to death... With all the EU'ers gone and border control in place, all the Russians gone, Britain's population would actually go down a bit so Britain actually won't need to produce that much especially that it's not exporting that much so it would just need to produce just enough to feed its own population and that's it. That would put the pressure off constantly trying to find resources and cost of living would actually go down provided BoE doesn't do the stupid thing of printing money. Britain won't be able to become world superpower or world's factory anyway, so why put the pressure on itself to compete to keep up with the Jonses? Just produce enough to develop its domestic economy, do some R&D about next gen. of technology and pay down some debt with the extra money and grow its economy gradually with the new technology, meanwhile maintain trade relations with the rest of non-EU countries and go from there. Serious, life without EU would really be much better I find.
In a survey by the ING Economic Network ten months after the EU referendum, 45% of the respondents did not fully understand the economic consequences of leaving the EU. This is why the clear majority of the British people do not understand Brexit – because the idea of leaving the EU was based on a false pretence. For example, the EU does not have any control over the lack of house building in the UK over the past 30 years, or the lack of funding for the NHS relative to the increase in the elderly population; or even the weak growth in the economy. Yet people were told that by leaving these issues could improve. Fast forward to the Brexit negotiations being led by David Davis and Michel Barnier, the UK government are still unsure of the path to take regarding issues including what a transitional deal might look like and for how long the status quo would continue as part of that. Simply, if the government are not sure on the process and what Brexit means, then how can the British public be? https://www.covi.org.uk/british-public-understand-brexit/ This one is really hilarious. No matter what happens with the GBP, any outcome is positive for the UK? Up or down it does not matter??? ROFLMAO Why did you post then in another thread that the EUR was going to crash and the GBP would be stronger? Why do you write here it doesn't matter as the UK will always win? http://waterfordwhispersnews.com/20...o-the-whole-christmas-found-to-be-fraudulent/ AFTER TYPING ‘What is a Brexit?’ into Google hundreds of times and finding it hard to understand the information provided, British Prime Minister Theresa May is now putting out an open call to anyone who can help in understanding the strange phenomenon that is ‘Brexit’. Possessing the inability to understand what an Article 50 actually is, along with being unable to cope with calling a snap election which resulted in Northern Ireland’s DUP party officially in charge of all major political decisions across Britain, May is rumoured to be desperate for help.
Add in that everything originating in the U.K. from aerospace parts and pharmaceuticals to certification of airport security become uncertified the day of Brexit absent raft of international agreements, which can't happen in time now, or an agreement to keep them under their current EU certifications which requires EU consent. A fair degree of chaos, that.
Add in that the UK car production is for 80% for export. Mainly EU. Leaving the EU will cause a lot of problems too. That's why BMW (mini), Toyota, Nissan are studiying moving back into the EU, in other words moving production out of the UK. But no worry, from anything that happens, the UK will always benefit. They are invincable. LOL.
I never posted that whether GBP goes up or down it does not matter. Again your low reading comprehension skill is failing you. I said GBP going down is not a bad thing that it would actually help UK's exports because its goods would be cheaper vs its competition. And EUR crashing is not mutually exclusive of GBP going down as well. Both can happen. People not understanding does not mean something is necessarily bad. Honestly do you really understand everything that happens? You don't even bother to understand what people write before you troll.
I don't know why she's hanging on wasting taxpayers' money when she knows she's way above her head in negotiating Brexit. I think she's hanging on just to make Brexit fail so to give people an excuse of getting a second referendum to vote staying in EU. People will not realize that voting to stay in EU the 2nd time is absolutely the worst that can happen to UK. UK would've truly lost everything and would be at the complete mercy of EU and would have no choice but to take whatever shit that EU will throw at UK now that EU sees UK is so desperate that it's got nowhere to go. EU can literally put in the agreement tell UK to eat shit, UK would have no choice but to eat shit just to stay in EU because otherwise what are you going to do? Have a 3rd referendum to leave EU? LOL I hope UK would at least have the intelligence to not have a 2nd referendum to just to stay in. UK already decided to leave EU, it should at least finish what it started.
WHY would UK's airport need to be certified by EU, by other countries to show to be safe? That is so ridiculous to begin with. Why is it UK cannot certify its own airports? What if UK never joined EU? What, its airports would never be certified as safe? What about USA, Canada, Japan who are never part of EU? Their airports are not safe? UK, when it's within EU, its airports are all "certified safe", all of sudden, 1 minute after it leaves EU, its airports are all unsafe? LOL This just shows how ludicrous this EU situation is. What if UK's airports are not "certified safe" after Brexit? What airplanes would never land in UK? For those people who need to go to UK would have to land in Ireland or France and then what take a train or bus or a ferry to cross the English channel to go to UK? LOL If th is is really true, this just shows one more reason why leaving EU is such a good idea the way how draconian EU is that it tries to control every single aspect of your life and forces all of its members to depend on it just to operate something so basic as an airport.
