I read an interesting note. commodity price are not the leading factor in acreage decisions, input prices are the major culprit of what to grow. Oth, with all the ethanol noise cotton probably took a back seat. So the farmers are faced with the same media noise we all deal with and plant corn, high growing costs, end up with a small return.
