What's the cost of living, stability of the government, nightlife ...? Are there a lot of Americans over there?
I think is cheap living here, well internet is not so cheap compared to US isp's but i think with time will get cheaper i pay like $80 for 250kps  the government is so stable that there is no army lol, nightlife is ok there is a lot of americans all over
I trade from St. Croix, US Virgin Islands. We are also very much a 3rd world telecom country, but under US Flag. ADSL for maybe a 256k throughput (sp) cost about $88/mo. with a $350 start-up fee. Line drops several times a week and the monopolistic (able to keep AT&T out!!!) telephone company who owns the ISP is without any customer support. BUT I trade from home, on the beach, and have GREAT sunsets. Good luck to you in Costa Rica, it should be a wonderful lifestyle!
Thanks for you reply. I have been going down there since 1997. I'm making a point to visit at least 5 times a year (already in my 3rd for this year ) I'm going to be traveling to Costa Rica this coming September, perhaps you and anyone that trades from there would care to joint us for an Imperial (local beer)
I'm heading down for a week in November, but probably won't leave the Delray --then again in Jan for 3 weeks at Jaco Beach and Pacific--let me know if you'll be down then
