  3. Yet another big shot banker who is a hero with other people's money and a coward with his own. How about a bailout for the customers who lost their money Mr Obama, or do you have to be a billionaire bank with dumbos that can't trade to be able to apply for that?

The shear incompetency of some of these Congressmen asking dull pointed questions is breathtaking. D Cardoza of CA is currently just one ex. Was entirely uncomfortable listening and had to turn off the audio for his 5-min session. Don't these people have remote ability of self-introspection and just admit to themselves "err, I'm totally ignorant to this subject, I recuse myself from the panel inquiry as I will waste the time of other participants."

  8. As happens so often with high profile democrats, eg both Clintons, Janet Reno, Eric Holder, Obama, Barney Frank, Chris Dodd, Nancy Pelosi etal, the question with Corzine is whether he is lying or just incompetent on an incomprehensible scale.

Blago got a long prison term for stupidly exposing the light on normal chicago political practices, but this guy will get off scot free.

  9. ... but doesn't the military (by their own admissions) routinely lose big money. Multiple billions from what I have read in both this administration and the former one. I don't ever remember anyone even raising an eyebrow in the mainstream media. Just a small article on the back pages of the newspaper.

I guess that the billion word has become passe and that only a trillion would be considered an issue.

Corizine just needs to say that he was fighting terrorism with the money and all is forgiven I guess.
