The people of Florida chose not to flatten the curve. The results should not be a surprise several of us told you it was coming a long, long time ago. Your government actually said you could pack a football stadium and still keep the schools open. That in a nutshell is how a lunatic approaches a pandemic. Kind of a Rose Garden super spreader for sports fans.
Florida's curves are looking very good right now on worldometer... https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/usa/florida/ So when are you going to adjust your crazy ideas? What would you have Florida do? Lockdown the low risk forever? Seriously at some point, selfish sobs like you have to stop trying to control the lives of low risk people who see this as no more than the flu. You can do what you want in your life but if Florida has the hospital space let the low risk live. Who the hell are you or any other fearful person... to tell the low risk to continue to suffer for your fears? High risk and anyone else can and protect themselves. Low risk can and should live their lives who they see fit. This is the land of the free and the home the brave. Kids need to live. For them this is less than the flu. For instance in California there has been something like one child who died from Covid. Far more have died from the flu.
It came to my attention recently that your background is a B. of Arts. Which helps explain why quality data analysis is not a skill you have. There is nothing good about the data in Florida.
The 'fearful" people in this equation are not people like me. I have no fears concerning Covid. You are in a constant state of panic and an emotional mess throughout. Oh, I know, your "freedoms" and beach time are being infringed on. You need to learn how to deal with this better buttercup.
You say this stuff like it is a bad thing. We're enjoying ourselves here in Florida. Businesses open, people living their lives. Unemployment data shows us vs. lockdown states much improved (I can repost this if you'd like). We're currently showing 99 deaths reported a day, (actual people dying is lower by date of death) but yeah, any death is too many. Of course 140 or so people last I recall die every day in Florida from Cancer, so that's a tragedy as well. Kids are back in school. Beaches are open. Tourism is coming back. Tax revenues (Sales tax) helping to refill the empty coffers. We don't have income tax, so that's not helping the state - just helps all of us who live here. Real Estate booming as people fleeing the north and the states up there. So yeah, we're fine.
you manifest your fear almost every day in which you post. you told me going to the beach was dangerous... and selfish you wished covid death upon me. you are a fear filled moron.
When going out in public... 1. Wear a mask 2. Use hand sanitizer when you get back in your vehicle (if applicable). 3. Wash your hands with warm, soapy water when you get home. 3a. (When in public, don't rub your fucking eyeball, mmmkay?)
when going out in public... if you are healthy (so, you won't be getting other sick) if you are outdoors... there is no reason for a mask just don't scream or hack on the people around you are let them do it you. -- an one other point some doctors have discussed. if you are healthy person with no co morbidities and you frequently go out in the sun... you may even want to get exposed to a low viral load now. rather than get a heavy load in doors during the winter. Think of it a a natural vaccine without the risk of being an early adopter.
