Depends on how long it goes on for.

If china doesn't doesnt ramp back up forcing lock downs which could go on for another 2years then 3 months down time, 2 to 3 years to rebuild businesses. If 2 years then 10 to 20years which is pretty nasty.

We'll know which way its heading in about 5weeks.

If treatment there on works and it spikes back up and they use it then that'll hopefully stop need for lockdowns, then no real impact.

Eventually people will opt for taking the hit of 1-2% of the population. Nobody wants to give up their good/decent living for saving already old people. You can't quarantine people for months while the weather is getting nicer and no people are dying on the streets.

In the UK 17,000 die per year mainly old from Flu, some young, gets zero media time / attention, 140per day over the main flu season.

If it wasn't for media hype scaring everyone, this would of went unnoticed aswell, there not doing it for the old people really, the young are scared shitless cause they don't understand basic maths, if 1, 25year old could die then so could I OMG!!

Could still be 0.1%, if so caused a lot of crap for 0.1%, won't know till the end.

Coronavirus might stay with us for the times to come just like regular influenza.

italy already peaked. spain will soon...

by the time we lift in 8 days we'll have seen enough peaking patterns in China Korea Italy and perhaps Spain. basically 2 weeks is all you need to reduce the height of the peak.

    Human life is NOT priceless.

that's incorrect. the flu virus mutates so fast that's why humans can't develop self-immune to it.

corona is a class of virus that mutates slow, that's why SARS MERS covid19 etc comes every 5 years or so.

Italy's spread is ahead of ours, meaning the USA is at least 2 wks out from peaking

Corona is an RNA virus just like the flu, meaning it mutates just as quickly & we'll be chasing yearly strains until the end of time.

idiot check your facts and double check them.

yes the USA will peak later because the spread and the shut down started later.

but corona does NOT mutate like the flu.
