That is the hair, it is cotton candy made out of piss. Scottish thing from his mom maybe? They traditionally use mens piss to fix the dye in tweed. This is why the House of Lords smelled like a uranal on a wet day.

Population is 3 - 4 times most there, USA is 2 or 3 weeks behind the UK, 6 weeks behind italy, UK peaking in the next 3 weeks, USA 6 - 8 weeks, Italy 1 - 2 weeks.

USA without ventilator shortage, knocking on 100K dead by the end of next month. Looks better at 0.04% of population, I'm going to say :)

Can't really fight it is the issue, 0.1% - 0.2%, doesn't seem much that way does it, stick to percentages. Much better than 530K at 0.2%.

2 Treatment Options, not 1 mention all week, either could reduce the death count massively, odd, anyone here anyhing, Chloraquin or the HIV anti Viral ??

  4. This is like the argument that we "can't have an affordable but top-quality public healthcare system in the U.S."

Look at other countries! Switzerland is flattening, Germany is flattening, South Korea is reverting its curve. And those are far denser populations. Why can't we keep exponential growth from happening?

We were doomed the moment an infected person boarded a plane from China bound to US back in December.

This is one day. Imagine it going on for 14 days starting in December with no symptoms, then another 30ish days before air traffic from China is curtailed. In fact, the whole world was doomed before anyone could say "Boo"!

  6. I'm not saying it was avoidable. I'm saying that people in the U.S. often make arguments about how "X just can't be done here," while a lot of other countries are getting X done. The curve can be flattened, it just takes good leadership and not-dumb people.

What I am trying to show is that the curve will not flatten when we still have air-traffic coming in from (name any country). And I am not advocating that we halt it. Just saying...Well, hell, not really sure what my point was. I think my point is that we keep seeing exponential growth because we have an exponential amount of freedom? I dunno', getting sleepy.

  8. But we are the epicenter now. I'm not sure if what little inbound air traffic we still have matters.

Bill Gates estimates the US will peak twoard the end of April in this wave. There will be more of course. I'd take his foundation's estimate a thousand times more readily than any from the US government right now.

If they can find a way to accept the new normal, then yes. Accepting the new normal means knowing where to spend the money and what to brush aside. Nobody wants luxury now, they just wanna survive.
