Yeah, I saw that chart. And to think that the EU is well more densely populated than the US. America's freedom-loving rugged individualists, eh?
at the moment...arizona and florida may be issues. I would testing and tracing the symptomatic in an effort to lock down those spreading to multiple people. I would be telling high risk people and the elderly (in those states especially) they should protect themselves and avoid non essential crowded places until further notice. Also, if they are living with those who are out and about... When the low risk return home or visit... they are going to have to go straight to the shower and get their clothes in the laundry. We are not going to make this virus go away, we tried locking down everyone and that accomplished little because the virus did not go away. Tremendous harm was done. So now we are going to have to focus on the high risk. They are going to have to protect themselves.
Europeans are less fat so have equivalent social distancing I don't know what the average testing rate per capita is in the EU however I expect it is on par with the US. Jem can cherry pick charts all he likes, all he wants, he is only fooling himself. To be fair its remarkable he gets away with his black hole shit but he does. He missed a calling defending big tobacco.
He could just make the test stats more interesting. One of these lines is the actual projected path of the virus.
There's still climate change. He could apply the same "special skills" denying its existence. Oh, wait. He already does that.
Can you imagine being his poor wife? No wonder he married a nurse, it would have to be someone with natural saint like patience.
I agree. Off the top of my head, steroids would only suppress an over reactive immune response--which is good, and not directly stop the damage the virus does to lung cells--which is not so good.?
