Damn, that is pretty harsh. Maybe the people who refused to act by thinking for themselves, instead of being plebian morons and waiting for the bloody Royals to guide them, are the ones who deserve to die? You know, common sense rule, instead of Parlimentarian rule?

"OMG, there is a fire right in front of me, and I am about to die. What should I do?"

"Well, you should wait to see what your government says you should do.".

"OK, I will wait until the government tells me what to do, because I cannot think for myself and have no brain, no common sense."

"Ok, after commiserating for a few days, the government says you should avoid the fire as best you can."

"It is too late, I died in a fire".

    "Well, piss off then, wanker".

  4. With all these grim stats about ventilation, I have to wonder why everyone has been demanding of ventilators.

It's not up to Chinese leaders to keep other countries' citizens safe from harm, it's up to our leaders.

This is reductive logic. But I'll play with it.

It's not up to violent criminals to stop doing crime. It's up to our country to stop them.

Alright since this is on the global scale let's find some ways to stop this:

    1. No biological, nuclear, or dangerous materials research by China. No businesses allowed to exist that produce research or experiments on dangerous diseases.
    2. China must report all cases of any disease to the UN who will distribute it to member countries to prevent the WHO from being involved again.
    3. Sanctions for decades on Chinese products to get the trillions in dollars lost back caused by them. Perhaps 1 billion per life lost in the period between Nov 19 and Jan 21 2020.

This is roughly equivalent to how we handle violent criminals. We:

    1. Prevent them from owning or building weapons
    2. Force them to register with states
    3. Charge them civil as well as criminal penalties.

we even prevent them from getting some jobs. So let's add one more penalty to China:

    4. No researcher with a degree from China shall produce research or hold a job at any biological, nuclear, or dangerous materials facility in the western world.

So if our countries are going to protect us we need to strike at China. Force them to pay dearly for this and not let the lives of innocent people, whose blood is on their hands, to end in vain. It's simple and you're right. Let's have our leaders do something to protect us from the Chinese Communists.
