But for those who like history: Event 201 and pandemic preparation Event 201 was a tabletop exercise that simulated a global pandemic, which resulted from a new coronavirus. The fictional coronavirus — a coronavirus, in general, being a specific kind of virus — in the scenario killed 65 million people over 18 months. The Center for Health Security has hosted three pandemic simulations prior to Event 201, going back to a 2001 simulation known as Dark Winter. The October simulation was the first time the center included private sector actors in its exercises, in the hopes of modeling how they might also react in such a crisis. Bill Gates needs to call for 2 things in this world: 1) World makes a collective effort to stop global warming. Spends 100s of billions towards it. Artic and Antartic are unfreezing rapidly. This is releasing and will release numerous viruses hidden and frozen on earth for millions of years. Need not say more. 2) World makes a collective effort towards eating only the "Lab produced" meat. This meat is more ethical, grown without killing an animal and 10x more healthy. Any wildlife eating needs to be banned all over the world. Countries which have wildlife meat markets if found the source of new viruses, would be held liable to Trillions in damages to the rest of the world. Regarding lockdown, each single day costs US 100s of billions of dollars, so govt. have to find more creative and efficient ways to give this virus a comprehensive defeat. Meds are already available to treat this threat, only thing is in the time of emergency the medical community needs to be more open minded and relax the regulations.
From my earlier link: In early February, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation pledged to donate $100 million to fight the outbreak, including funding for frontline responders, prevention efforts, and treatment. A big chunk is reserved for vaccine development.
Buddy if this is going to be an annual vaccine then bumper profits for the vaccine makers !! Hope this is a once in a lifetime vaccine only. Still, cure or treatment will do more good than vaccine. Cannot vaccinate 8 billion people on earth, it will take decades of time.
