I see that they are marked left and right. Always helpful. I guess. Not sure why though. I would think they would both be "left" on her. Little joke there.
''My administration is the most transparent in the history of this country.'' he said. Democrat ‘appalled’ by classified Senate briefing on coronavirus: ‘Should have been fully open to American people’ Sen. Richard Blumenthal (D-CT) blasted the Trump administration for withholding information about coronavirus preparations from the public. The administration gave senators a classified briefing Tuesday morning on the virus, which Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) warned Monday could turn into a potential pandemic unless President Donald Trump and his team took swift action. “The Trump administration has been asleep at the wheel,” Schumer said. “President Trump, good morning, there is a pandemic of coronavirus. Where are you?” “This morning’s classified coronavirus briefing should have been made fully open to the American people,” Blumenthal tweeted. “They would be as appalled & astonished as I am by the inadequacy of preparedness & prevention.” ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Rush Limpbark said ''The coronavirus is just a common cold , folks.''
It seemed like DOD was sort of on top of this, though who knows how many heads have rolled since then and/or if they still are.
‘Defunded the CDC’ to ‘build his wall’: Trump scorched for incompetent handling of coronavirus – including spelling it ‘caronavirus’ President Donald Trump and his White House have made clear he is unconcerned about the deadly coronavirus threat, except as it affects the markets, which he sees as his key to re-election. He reportedly was “furious” at the CDC for telling lawmakers and the American public the virus will spread into communities across the U.S. “We are asking the American public to prepare for the expectation that this might be bad,” the CDC said Tuesday, which angered Trump. Those remarks helped tank the markets even further on Tuesday, with the DOW dropping 1900 points in just two days. Trump tried to blame the news media for informing the public about the risks, via Twitter Wednesday morning. It did not go well. After announcing a news conference for 6 PM Wednesday, Trump went ballistic, attacking the press, and Democrats, as if they were the ones who made the determination the coronavirus will greatly affect Americans’ day-to-day lives. And he spelled coronavirus wrong.
Trump and others have long argued that one of the reasons why we need border security is to reduce the spread of diseases from illegals coming in, and the potential for that to become castrophic if there are serious diseases. So don't start laughing at him on that just yet. Let us know how it is looking if Americans work their arses off to identify and isolate every case of coronavirus but Mexico has rampant coronavirus- at some point- bcause they only take care of what the drug lords tell them to take of. You better hope that mexico is addressing it rigorously because if the virus spreads in Mexico then we are getting a portion of their population every day.
