Once again you are confusing the proven Case Fatality Rate (CFR) with the estimated Infection Fatality Rate (IFR). You were claiming back in March the Case Fatality Rate (CFR) would be between .6% and .7%. Absolutely wrong -- the Case Fatality Rate is still above 2.5%.
Once again you are asserting nonsense and trying to re-write history. Good luck with your fabricated narratives and nonsensical claims.
The title of the thread is Corona Virus Death Rate will be about .6% to .7% by WildChild Whats the confusion and where are my fabricated narratives, LIAR?
This entire conversation is about CFR. The Death Rate of a virus is the CFR. The proven Case Fatality Rate is used for the study of the virus and is the scientific Death Rate.
Since spring or so i've been aware that the rate is down about 3 in 1000 cases, or 99.30 or so. It was a little confusing because hydroxychoroquine supposedly got the rate down to just that, about 99.30%. I might be mistaken, maybe it was lower, but eventually i got the idea they might be the same. People were reporting feeling better after taking it. So that jury might still be out. Now they are saying these vaccines are 70-90% effective? So now it seems we are going backwards, and it is more confusing that ever. So lets start with 3 deaths per 1000 cases, just for conversation. Does the vaccine reduce that even further by applying 90% to the 3 that were supposed to die? Does that reduce the 3 to .027 or something? Or, are they saying for every 1000 cases, 100-300 will die? That's backwards.
Apparently you don’t understand how vaccine effectiveness works. There are plenty of mainstream medical resources available online which explain it in detail you should explore.
Answer the question with science Or shut up. From the articles I read they were looking at hospitalizations... but they did not break it down by expected result by risk group. Maybe they did.. somewhere else... I would love to read a useful link instead of douchebag responses. I would expect you to have a solid link given your obsession.
