All true but I think Trump is blowing the wad prematurely on this. This is not a pandemic. I get we're trying to prevent one, but even the worst case numbers being thrown around isn't a pandemic, it's a more aggressive death toll from a new virus. Tragic yes, pandemic no. Now if that number of deaths prediction was ten fold, then yes, full court press is warranted.
It is absolutely clear that Dems want as many people to be infected and die from Covid-19 as possible so the dems have a better chance in Nov. Also, as Maher clearly stated, Dems are hoping the economy crashes so that Trump has less of of chance to be reelected. Dems don't care about anything except for pushing their agenda.
Nope. I keep seeing dems on TV stating that convid-19 is clear evidence that the US needs universal healthcare and if the US did have it that covid-19 wouldn't be a problem. That UHC would have solved everything. What in the hell happened in Italy, Germany, France, etc. then?
I will take Trump victory and oil $70 in November..... fuck it....we going to hell might as well make some money along the way haha joking
They have healthcare on paper but in vivo if you show up with a serious medical condition they will get right on it and schedule a procedure for you out about the second week of December. I wonder what the already horrendous overloading and waiting periods for other conditions will look like when health resources are diverted to coronavirus. Canadians will be boasting about how they jumped right on the treatment and care bandwagon and treated thousands of corona patients almost immediately, ie they took their temp, gave then a bottle of electrolyte water/Gatorade and told them to self isolate. Meanwhile all their heart and cancer patients will be going to the U.S. to try to get treatment before they die. I just hope that one of their Provincial Premiers does not come down for treatment because the Canadian system sucked. The Premier of Nova Scotia or maybe it was Labrador and Newfoundland did that once, and man, did he get shiite. He had a good excuse though. He had a serious heart condition and wanted to live.
By all accounts, a containment success, except in right wing conspiracy circles. If you knew anything, you'd understand the pandemic response team was put in place as a result of the lessons learned during H1N1 & ebola.
