It's a bit of a numbers thing though....I think I made that projection off of the 1st 50 cases date a few days ago (based on China, Italy, and Iran).

  2. My point is screw the federal gubmint...local politicians and private sector have acted fast to slow this down.

we will get a spike in next few weeks as all those unknowing carriers were in the public and spread it but all the public gathering cancellations could limit the curve to manageable levels.

I.think seeing China, Italy and Iran get overwhelmed and dumbfuckery they displayed fave us a head start to cancel everything haha.

I guess so, I just don't think we're doing a better job than Italy, China, or god forbid Iran when it comes to containment/pre-emptiveness. Being an authoritarian regime helps in that regard, and I guess in a score to the xenophobes, not being as densely populated helps as well. The weather's been a bit of a wild card, & we may luck out (even as cases hit Korea, Singapore, & Australia).....or it may not help at all as it's been theorized.

  5. United States healthcare system is one big lie. Coronavirus is going to prove it.

I used to argue against Here4money to show everyone what a stupid fucking idiot he was. Now I just let him speak for himself and it takes no time for people to figure it out.

    Trumpvirus confirmed

    https://theweek.com/speedreads/9020...ive-coronavirus-testing-hopes-help-reelection

Trump reportedly rejected aggressive coronavirus testing in hopes it would help his re-election

"The U.S. government's response to the COVID-19 coronavirus outbreak has been "much, much worse than almost any other country that's been affected," Ashish Jha, who runs the Harvard Global Health Institute, told NPR on Thursday. "I still don't understand why we don't have extensive testing. Vietnam! Vietnam has tested more people than America has." Without testing, he added, "you have no idea how extensive the infection is," and "we have to shut schools, events, and everything down, because that's the only tool available to us until we get testing back up. It's been stunning to me how bad the federal response has been."

Jan. 22: “We have it totally under control.”

Jan. 24: “It will all work out well.”

Feb. 24: “The Coronavirus is very much under control in the USA. … Stock Market starting to look very good to me!”

Feb. 25: “CDC and my Administration are doing a GREAT job of handling Coronavirus, including the very early closing of our borders to certain areas of the world.”

Feb. 26: “Because of all we’ve done, the risk to the American people remains very low. … When you have 15 people, and the 15 within a couple of days is going to be down to close to zero. That’s a pretty good job we’ve done."

"We took the original boldest step of all when we closed very early with China. That helped us save thousands of lives. And we went very early with Europe."

"But it'll be -- it'll go very quickly."

"We have very strong emergency powers under the Stafford Act. And we are -- we haven't -- I mean, I have it memorized, practically, as to the powers in that act."

"You have to remember, the stock market, as an example, is still much higher than when I got here."

"The Fake News Media and their partner, the Democrat Party, is doing everything within its semi-considerable power (it used to be greater!) to inflame the CoronaVirus situation, far beyond what the facts would warrant. Surgeon General, 'The risk is low to the average American,'"
