Who's money was it in the first place? Tax payers, correct? You could easily argue that checks to tax payers and low interest loans to businesses is nothing more than returning some of the money that these productive people/businesses have contributed over the years. It's not the government's money. It's ours.

I promise you one thing...We may be in the shit storm right now, but the US will do way better than the rest of the world because we can buy our way out of this.

I worry more for the people in other countries that have no stimulus and are just going to have their own massive unemployment.

Yeah, our money gets devalued a little, but the trade off is we get out of this recession 10x faster than everybody else.

If people have no money to buy anything, there can be no businesses to sell them anything which means nobody to hire them which means long term unemployment. It's a downward spiral. Trump, the republicans AND the democrats have come together to make sure we spiral upwards.

This baby belongs to all of us now.

All major CB's and treasuries are going to take similar measures. It doesn't change currencies that much if everyone has to take the same medicine.

The dollar is flat to slightly higher than when Trump took office and is much higher than the average of the Obama administration so it seems your opinion is junk.

  6. It's not. It's a credit entry backed by M1 creation. The taxpayers just opened a LOC.

  8. How much of that (family of four) $3,400 is going to be invested or saved? 5-10% on average.

My kids felt slighted that they weren't getting $500 from the govt. I said that we'd have to be broke to receive it. They promptly shut their mouths.

China is inflating their own currency themselves.

The rest if the world is taking more notice this time of the US putting its hand in their pocket and stealing the value of their reserve dollars again. Seeing mention of where are they getting the money from? about in Spanish..

Back in the day the European king's would licence pirates to drum up cash, now the petrodollar does the job to save the bloated corpse of a government.
