I guess he's doing his best to get Trump re-elected. America is a lot more concerned with the rapid increase in crime than they are with the handful of high-profile unjustified cop killings in a country of 330 million+ each year. Obama was broadly popular, because he didn't stress black grievances or push for things like reparations. He focused on a message that could broadly appeal to people of all races.
The if you don't vote for the backstabbing piece of shit Biden you will get Trump is working on less and less people.Personally I hate Biden more than Trump(not voting for either) so Im fine with it. I used to wonder how so many people could stay home or vote Green in 2000 and 2016,now I understand and have joined them.
Although he too came up short, Bernie was much closer to achieving victory than the Greens ever were (and probably ever will be). The Democrats just don't seem to have any talented politicians right now that could give an incumbent president a run for his money.
At the end of the day black people are 12% of the population and their particular issues aren't often on the priority list of the other 88%. Things like inflation, healthcare, climate change, gun control, and education are way higher in importance to the masses.
Dems aren't doing much on those issues either. Its understandable that so many have reached the point of whats the point of voting for them.
Might have to do with the first black POTUS rather than policy itself. I'm pretty sure that if a candidate is more focused on police-black people relations than crime itself, they will lose. People see that progressive policies with drugs are failing badly. We are seeing businesses being broken into and leaving the cities where these so-called "harm reduction" policies are being enacted. People are much less concerned about giving others second chances than they are cleaning up the streets right now.
