Sweet and salty should never be mixed. One will overpower the other and make the other weaker. My brain doesn't like it when 2 opposite compounds come together. It takes the enjoyment out of both. However, I will say that store bought corn does not taste sweet at all, in fact it tastes like nothing. That's why us people that live in the city areas need butter and salt. We don't have big fancy farm land to go out and pick crops or start milking a cow like an all-you-can-eat buffet. Food here is limited, that's why we stock up on seasonings and oils, can't just go out and start yanking plants out of the ground everytime we're hungry....
I like Corn because its margin required is the cheapest. Natural Gas is 2nd cheapest as far as I know....
right. It is one of the most boring contracts for day traders. Spreaders and farmers like to trade it.
30 day fed fund futures margin is even lower, and 3 month short sterling futures margin is even much more lower. ie it is even more boring to trade low margin means low volatility means less chance of earning $$$.
If you're in the U.S., Canada or France...most cities have a farmer's market along with those street corner food peddlers selling stalks of corn, many other types of vegetables and fresh picked berries. In contrast, many coastal cities will have a farmers market with seafood market too. wrbtrader
