Am wondering what is best for NinjaTrader, as I am going to be buying a new computer soon.
Highly likely that NinjaTrader could be much different since it is a trading platform, but nonetheless, I have a similar thread here:
Single quad-core or dual Xeons for Blocks rig?
that you may want to check out.
defintely buy a strong quad core, take care you choose plenty of quick ram and also keep an eye on noise level and heating. i am very happy with my quad for trading, a powerhouse you cant hear. i suppose many more programs will efficiently support multicore architectures in 2009 so this should be a clear choice. good trades, cosmic
both will run it fine
I don't understand why everyone thinks they need a super-computer for NinjaTrader? Runs fine on my E6700 and would run fine on a 5 year old P4 as well, assuming at least 1 GB memory.
