  2. Thanks Doji7,
I'm doing my part to try and keep this thread alive. Thanks for the comments.
As you can guess I'm primarily intraday trend trading. I look for trendline breaks on declining momentum(MACD and squeeze) and track the progress of the trade using adx and by looking at a higher time frame (60min chart for the bigger picture) I also use daily and weekly charts for more of the same.

    Thanks again,

Keep your post alive. I'm reading your posts from Chile.

In our country copper is highly correlated with GDP trend, currency , stocks and Presidential popularity...

  4. Hey Doji7,

Thats very interesting regarding the correlations you mentioned.

So you have a runoff election soon? or did one candidate win?

    What markets do you trade?

Besides copper prices are highly correlated with our consumer confidence

If copper goes down , ECH i shares and local adrs should go down.

Recent elected President is a billonaire , Harvard educated and owner of Lan Airlines , adr ticker symbol LFL

Trade our local stock market, adrs and eur/usd

Copper is key in our economy, imho is overvalued

I live in Santiago very quiet city and very friendly with american people

Piñera want to sell part of Codelco to our IRA administrators.
But i think he can't do it
He started credit cards industry here and started Citicorp Mutual Funds local branch, 30 years ago.

If a see any news about copper strikes , I'll post here

    :D
