How does anyone scalp off machines? Didn't the word "scalp" come from the old pit days when orders came in from upstairs they simply bought or sold in front of the order then filled the order....... other words information that worked out better than 50/50 if you get what im saying!
Good call just going with the practice account today. It's always good to take a day and regroup after having a rough go of it yesterday. I think you have to define scalping. Do you mean sitting on the bid and offer and trying to make a tick? Or are you at least going for 5-10 ticks in high probability situations?
Well I just did a dick move...! I logged out and then logged back in... Scalped 5 lots for a $100 winner in the Combine... I forgot that the sim switches accounts when you log off... guess I'm in Combine for the day.... Trades in both accounts... 3... winners 3 losers 0 net total $175...
100.00 !!! winner!! are you serious. what risks are you taking even if you did not log out/login ..... what metrics applied... 5 lots is notionally a lot of money even if you returned 500.00 in a minute........ this whole thread is focused wrong.. they new word is "combine" seems to be the new buzz word to get people "in" the game
4 winners 0 losers $275... FLAWLESS VICTORY! ....... .... NOT...! I think Maverick is going to have a fit with this...! I'm reading this DOM pretty well right now... Almost like an open book!
They are really figuring $25 for commissions? Who pays that? That is WAY to much. Unless they then charge that if you are trading for them?
Cooltraderdude- GREAT awareness! Recognizing right away what you need to work on and then stepping back and doing the work to fix it is what the COMBINE is all about. I want everyone to know that the Combine is not only about getting funding it is about recognizing your weakness and then doing something about it (without taking the real loss of -$695. That is powerful stuff in this business and will keep you trading for a long time when you build a solid foundation in your trading career.. Lastly, there is much more to the Combine then paying a deposit for a chance to get funded. You enter the Combine to feel the SIM market as a real live market and make the necessary adjustments. Again good job picking up on that cooltraderdude. Keep your head up.. I see you are up money today. mp
Ok sounds better - but it looks like 2 trades and commissions and fees of $50? Okay, I missed the 5 lot deal.
