lol I had a posumn here too a few weeks ago, it's like a rat with fur. I was walking out to get a coffee late night, thing scared the shit out of me... right on my front porch. Haven't seen it since, they always get hit by cars. It was a big one though.

So far I have a bunch of sketch tracks laid down, trying to lay out rough ideas I have in my head. I cannot stand programmed drums and that is one thing that really kills the process. As far as the music, probably nothing many would really enjoy too much or would appeal to the masses, but something I need to get done for myself finally.

I really have to lock down for a bit, maybe a month or two and solely concentrate on that to get anything the way I want it in the end.

  3. yes, the drums are always the problem. Posumns are easy to train and appreciate a regular feeding schedule. A five dollar bag of cat food will last a long time, and you can supplement it with anything you don't want in your compost pile.

been short that EUR as long as I can remember, at one time thanks to martingale it was my largest position and largest loss. Now it is my smallest position and only loss, due mostly in fact to religiously adding to my short AUD.

hard to know about music, from the time I was thirteen I never had a Friday or Saturday night off. Never had a date, never learned how to dance or relate. I was always working.

Last time I played for a dance, they tried to charge me $8 to enter, I said, "For crying out loud, I am in the band!" they said, "OK, we'll let you in, but just don't dance."

hard to know how my life would have turned out if I had put trading first and music second, but for me that is just not an option

haha compost pile? what are you growing over there OT.. lol

Yea I hear you, it is not an option for me either.

Drums are def a problem since I am more of a percussionist then anything. I started playing them at 5/6 yrs old and won't settle for anything less then solid groove, dynamics and sound, but I am not talking about recording quality, I'm sure you know what I mean. I have been concentrating on bass and guitar for the past 10 years though, I really like the bass as it is a happy medium there, but i'll have a kit setup again soon. I have the shells sitting behind me actually, just waiting on cymbals and mics. Then this process will be much more smooth and enjoyable. I will still need to get someone in for the final tracking, until I get my chops up again.

Goal is to get my own decent little project studio up eventually, maybe get to work with other bands, producing, that will be the greatest of all.

Anyway... as far as FX trade, still trying to be patient taking smaller trades when I see an opp. Not going for too much ahead of these events as it seems we'll get some vol but it can go this way then that way in the flip of the switch. Uncertainty is high and I have no idea what the outcomes will be but there will be trades... and it looks like 2600 is in the crosshairs.

  6. The danger of making money from the thing you love is turning it into a job you hate. Much better to make money trading which nobody in their right mind can claim has any redeeming social or moral or spiritual value.

Although on a good night when you get everything positioned just the way you want it does seem more like an art than a job.

wise words OT. The crazy thing is I know plenty of musicians/producers that have the formula to make way more money then they do in music but they would have to sell out. Some do, most of them surprisingly don't. For most who I appreciate it really isn't about the money, but they have to eat and keep a roof over there heads. In this day and age the music industry is different. On top of that you can make really decent sounding stuff in a home studio before getting it mastered, and do alot of promoting/marketing yourself.

I really like trading and markets. I do consider it somewhat of an art for sure, well the way I do it anyway.

Whats up Junior, good luck bro, I had a nice level down there in the 80's in spot on AUD/USD.

I don't know about EUR/AUD, I think it still may have some more in the tank, but tomorrow will be more USD driven I would assume. 2150 EUR/AUD is the 38.2 fib on my charts and it is showing so a retracement could be due but I am not stepping in front just yet.

I will be standing down until after the event. It's textbook shit here on euro... just holding ahead of it, we'll see. Still biased to the upside for me for a shot at 2600+

    ACB buyer lifts AUD/USD
Chatter of possible China easing accompanies attempted short-squeeze
Specs now short in advance of Bernanke are at risk of some paring of positions
Bearish techs weigh. Break above 1.0350 needed to neutralize short-term trend

seems good for the AUD/USD long Junior. Lets see how it pans out.
