Contigency Planning For Equipment Loss

  1. Just had my computers stolen. Trying to get them back fortunately I have a contigency plan for just such a situation. I am not counting on the justice system for my equipment back. I have lost all faith and and confidence in the judicial system here in the states. If you are a victim then it is your fault. Bussiness wise it is just cheaper. Just FYI you guys and gals to be prepared for all types of trading conditions including loss of computers.

  2. To me, all hardware are replaceable. Yes that's money you have loss, but replaceable.

The most important thing is your data.

*) Keep your software media and licenses safe somewhere.
*) Regularly back up your essential data and store some off-site.
*) Encrypt sensitive documents (such as you financial statements and such).
