Nutty enough to bang heads with the head of the serpent...we need more nuts like him and less geniuses who look the other way...

  2. Ventura is great, but for Pete's sake people, its a TV SHOW! It needs to be sensational to get ratings and eyeballs...just like the reality shows where the producers edit the footage to be most controversial and entertaining, this "conspiracy theory" show takes interesting ideas but the details are all edited to support conspiracy...I have seen most of the episodes and the real facts once u strip away the stuff they focus on (on purpose) usually would suggest there isnt really a conspiracy at all. like an earlier post said - criminal behavior allowed by the government? almost certainly. But a conspiracy? Not so much.

  3. There has been, and is now, a "revolving door" between the SEC and GS, and the other major players on Wall street.
BTW, isnt the NYSE really based in Jersey?

    Agreed!

He's nutty, and for some reason I seem to like the guy. Especially after doing the show on the Wall Street mess! I think he's always been nutty, and that's fine with me as long as he's for a FREE America, not the socialist mess it's becoming.

He's always been something of a sensationalist, but that doesn't bother me. Now if he was for gun control, big taxes, and an even bigger govt. mess like so many of the elected nutty idiots we have, that would be another story...

That was me who posted the that statement, and I'm the OP in the thread. Btw, I also agree. They have to put their spin on certain stories to make something that isn't a true conspiracy become a "conspiracy." Good points!

Not to go off topic, but several marksmen were able to make a bullet do what it did as in the JFK assination to make the magic bullet theory really, a true possibility. Even the mythbuster show was able to get a marksman to pull off the shots that Ventura says Oswald couldn't have done. Oswald was a US Marine, and so was I. We COULD shoot very well under stress, and shoot accurately... I used to think the JFK magic bullet theory was a conspiracy until I saw with my own eyes marksmen pulling off the shots with a Mannlicher rifle.

  7. It always cracks me up that otherwise intelligent people fall into this "conspiracy theory" trap..i.e. the notion that anything that falls outside of the mainstream contrived version of events is a "conspiracy theory". In reality, it's the ultimate form of thought control, an Orwellian-ism.

Case in point: if any one of the "conspiracy theorists" on this site had predicted the exact events of 2008, 2 years earlier, they would have been labelled as nutjobs since all of it would seem so outlandish and outside of the law. Even the notion of the Fed having an interest in the day to day fluctuation of equity prices was labelled as a "conspiracy" a few years back...the suppresion of precious metals prices..yep a conspiracy theory as well.

Maybe, it's time for some of you folks to take a reality check and come to terms with the fact that you really "don't get it". You have no capacity to think outside of the box or take an objective view on events, as unpleasant as they may be to your own belief systems.
