  1. I've been watching this thread for a while and until now have choosen not to participate b/c of all the BS.

    That quote is pretty pathetic.

I've got a better one for you:

"It has been proven that you have low self-esteem, are unemployed, grossly obese and haven't been laid in 10 years."

Oh, wait, what I meant to say is:

"It has been proven that EVERYBODY here has low self-esteem, is unemployed, grossly obese and hasn't been laid in 10 years."

Why come here and post this crap? Keep thinking like a loser - its healthy.

  3. It is very obvious who makes money on this board and who is full of it. It was painfully obvious from the get go that bobcathy was NOT a profitable trader.

I get such a kick out of reading some of the nimrods on this site. It really is quite entertaining.

  5. What’s a fair amount to make? I made a living last year. I have improved each year but hey who knows what this year will be til it’s over. I can only tell you that thinking negative will only make you fail. I have noticed trading in a positive mood is my best edge. I can go a month being up everyday and then have one bad day change my mood. I have learned to control those negative mood swings a lot better because it only ends with losing days.

I ask you this .... where are the Buffets and the Soro's in the Daytrading community?

Surely there would be one and surely the media would have found them and surely they would be famous I mean Buffet and Soro's lose nothing by fame and who would refuse it?

I mean come on the facts are here. Consistent Long term (7 year) plus Daytraders are an Urban Myth almost all of them find other sources of revenue when the ultimately burn out!

    Show me the money!

  7. You failed at it so you are sore. I am sure you did well in other stuff that people said it can’t be done. Also your idea of good money day trading might be different then another persons. I know a few people who personally made over 250k last year and they made in small amounts every day consistently. I get the feeling it makes you feel better saying it can’t be done because if it can be done then you failed. See if nobody can do it then hey its not your fault you failed.

  8. Do you realize how stupid you sound when you claim something like this.

There are at the very least 3 posters on this very thread who would meet your above criteria. Thanks for telling me what I have and have not been doing though the last 6 years. Thanks. LOL.

Well I don't count for another 4 months so I guess you are right! C'mon you guys...myself, sdtrader, ericp, lescor etc all make a good living daytrading full time. Is it really that hard to believe?! Maybe it's time for some of you to find a new profession.

  10. Hey boys & girls:
Once again thanks for all the entertainment. We had a blast reading the posts after work today. by the way for the person that wants to know where the "Buffets and Soros of the daytrading community" are I would refer him to the first issue of "Trader". The magazine is a complete rag, but it does list many successful daytraders, most of whom make good money on a consistent basis.. I would have posted before, but I have to admit, I wanted to see just how long you folks would continue to beat on this dead horse. Congratulations, more than 21 pages!!!
    Yeehaa! :D
