If that will give you the correct number of ports with the proper connection and at your desired resolution, should be good.
All 3 monitors and TV are DVI outputs so I will need the appropriate adapters or cables. I am leaning towards cables over adapters.
DVI-DP adapters work well. I've used them for years, but they support only up to 1920x1200 resolution.
That's a great price and only a few dollars more for 16gb memory... I am currently looking for another computer and it makes sense to look at refurbished computers. thanks for the information toucan
If you're concerned about the seller, you can get a Square Trade warranty for 2 years for $99, or so. Newegg has a 30-day return policy. If after 30 days your rig is running as it should, you're probably good.
Just to let everyone know, I purchased the HP Z440. Thanks goes everyone that provided advice. I will give a update when I get everything setup.
Hi guys, I just want to provide an update on my refurbished HP 440Z Workstation purchase. I received my order quickly, the workstation arrived in three days. The workstation itself has few minor dings and scratches on the outside and the inside is very clean. Speaking of inside, I installed an additional video card which is same model as the one that came in the the system. I also installed the sound card from my old system since my speaker system only has optical audio available to the computer, and the onboard audio of the 440Z does not have an optical audio out. Everything with the system is working very smoothly. No complaints so far. I have a question about Windows 10 Pro updates. I currently have all updates on pause for (I think) 35 days. At the end of the 35 days, does Windows 10 just apply all applicable on a 35 day delayed basis? So, I assume "today's" updates will be applied 35 days later and so forth. I ask since I would like to avoid the "bad" updates that wreak problems on peoples systems.
