Haven't you heard that not everything Billy Bob tells you one Facebook is true?

Everyone and his brother has a MBA. They are almost worthless nowadays. MBAs used to be the thing, but unfortunately that is 20 years ago

An MBA from the University of Phoenix may indeed not be worth a lot, although I would say that there are at least several hundred solid MBA programs in the U.S. and Canada that will deliver about the same level of basic finance, accounting, operations, econ, and marketing which are all helpful if you are at all involved in actually running a company. They're worthwhile if you value the things you learn there, that's in no way diminished by the number of other people who have the same degree. In fact I find it much easier to interact with people in a business context who do have a solid background in those areas, so from my perspective the more people who get an MBA the better it is for me. A "pull the ladder up behind you before the unwashed masses come get MBAs" mentality is pretty backward in my experience, and would not be typical of the attitude someone who actually had an MBA would say.
It's also important to understand that "an MBA" isn't a commodity like "a bushel of wheat". There are a handful of schools whose MBA programs expose you to a spectacular network of people which at least for me led to a life changing increase in what I was able to accomplish. If the value of these programs has diminished then I can't imagine how valuable they were before!

BTW, the OP hasn't been seen here since 2016, so not sure we're providing him much help at this point.
