    I've asked a couple of my colleagues at work what is considered a Low Volume for a NASDAQ stock and they all gave me different answers.
    they say you shouldn't trade with low volumes because its hard to get in and out of.
    but what is considered a low volume? (eg. 500,000 or 1,000,000)

    Lets say I'm a Pattern Day Trader trading with the NASDAQ SM. should i be trading with stock with volume of at least 500,000 or 1,000,000 or what?

    Regards

    Seldom if ever swing /position trade any stock under average daily volume; of 1 million
    and fills are important but not even a priority for me.

    However IBD has an approximate goal of 100k vol.

    MTH had average vol of 5ook , the pattern /sector was so strong;
    tried it ,didnt like that low volume, even though my plan doesnt forbid it.:cool:
