I'm aware of what I said. I said that the decision to be able to hire and fire people without government interference is a very Libertarian position. This also aligns with conservative's position on the issue. And then you started bringing up FISA, War on Terror, Pro Life, morality police, etc... Happy to discuss any of those if you like, but lets stay on point until we settle this, shall we?
I wonder how arch conservatives like Thomas envision a country where everyone has to pull themselves up by their own bootstraps but doesn’t have the protections to maintain gainful employment. It’s like the game is rigged against some people.
If a company wants the freedom to be able to fire people based solely on race or sexual orientation and claim freedom from government intervention then they should not be hypocrites and free themselves from all government intervention. That means no license to operate within the State, no license to conduct interstate commerce, no license to hold their business in a corporate entity, no ability to claim tax benefits for running a business, and no protection from the courts when their business is defrauded or a contract is not adhered to. No benefits at all from the government. Those fuckers want no interference but hold their fucking hand out all the time for the benefits huh.... They can go to some isolated island with no government at all and run their fucktarded business anyway they want.
Yeah, so you're suggesting that these people believe in no government at all, which is not the case. Even Libertarians (the real ones, not some bullshit Piezoe pretends is libertarian) don't believe in no government. They believe in limited government. It doesn't have to be all or nothing.
Seems they believe in limited government only when it suits them, not some grand vision. It is all or nothing when you say, don't tell me who I can serve, hire or fire, but please give me all the benefits I am entitled to. Libertarians fall under the hypocrite wing in most of their comments.
Ohhhh on that particular issue. On so many others NOT! Pick and choose huh? As for this topic, yea Supreme's are being kinda Libertarian like, rather than strict (nowadays redefined) Conservatives. Good for them.
