You don't have to be the last one! But I think it's better to let someone else lose the argument with the first insult. : )

"The journalists at World News on Monday and Good Morning America on Tuesday ignored the results of their own poll, a survey finding Democrats in deep trouble for the 2014 midterms. It's not as though GMA was packed with hard news and there was no available time. The morning show devoted an astonishing 18 minutes to promoting the new season of Dancing With the Stars..."

Good to know. Because if I had a child like you, I'd go get myself fixed pronto to avoid future contamination.

Also, I might add that my mother and I spoke a while back - she told me how she regretted voting for Obama because of all of failures and corruption rampant in his administration. She actually quoted the Bible - "whereas I was once blind, now I can see." It was a nice conversation, thanks for asking.

Not everyone considers it a lost argument when an insult is used. Actually, few do.

Few? Who was it who said, "when the debate is lost, slander becomes the tool of the loser"?

Imagine a disgraced former Republican congressman like say Mark Foley (R-Fla.) found his way back into the news after being arrested on porn charges in a foreign country. Imagine he then tried to claim asylum in another country, giving a fanciful story about being the target of a secretive government hit squad.

Suffice it to say, that story would be the water cooler topic of the day in the liberal media and the Republican's party ID would be noted in every story. But, of course, we're talking about the saga of ex-congressman and ex-con Mel Reynolds (D-Illinois).

Socrates! So the idea has been around for a while.

I never disputed the idea being around awhile - just the number of people who put stock in it.

Now it's your turn: Who said -

"I'm dealing with fools and trolls and soft targets. It's just strafing runs in my underwear before my first cup of coffee. I don't have time for these clowns."
