A few years ago there was gaggle of leftist writers who all belonged to a secret "journolist" that took talking points from the administration and worked together to push a synced narrative for the left. Forget i said that. It sounds like i'm making up a conspiracy.
Climategate emails showed that top global warming so called scientists were sending private emails to one another discussing ways to hide data showing a decline in temperatures, prevent anyone from obtaining data through foi requests, and to prevent sceptical articles from being published in science journals. Never mind. That would be a conspiracy.
How many times are you going to try to use this argument, only to get it thrown back in your face? For the hundredth time, you can create a no firearms environment on major airlines because all who fly are subject to go through a security checkpoint, thereby eliminating (most of the time) weapons. You can't do that in the United States because of the hundreds of millions of weapons already there. There's no way to create a "clean" zone. The only thing you can do is disarm those who follow the law. It would really be nice if you reach back behind your head and turn that switch on that controls that meat pack inside your skull.
For "the hundreth time", gun control does work in certain situations, thus the simple claim "gun control doesn't work" is wrong. Understanding this frees one to do cost/benefit analysis on situations.
Even when presented with a video where dianne feinstein says straight up that she would take away all guns if given the chance, futurescurrents creates a conspiracy theory that its a fake and its all taken out of context.
Once again, you're arguing semantics - something you've fallen back on lately as your talking points have been systematically dismantled. Gun Control does not work. Gun Control is legislation to prevent the ownership, or regulate said ownership of firearms. Security can work if properly applied to a venue or specific area - since we're playing semantic games here. Please describe one way you could effectively remove all the firearms from the streets of America. Because without that process, Gun Control is an impossibility. There are no word games you can play to change that one, simple fact.
Well, futurecurrents can go fuck off, because the number of Americans who say owning a handgun should be legal is at record highs. http://www.gallup.com/poll/165563/remains-divided-passing-stricter-gun-laws.aspx
