Stu you completely wrong and clearly out of context... you left out half the quote.... he said render unto Ceasar what is Ceasar's and onto God what is God's. that is a very different statement for Jesus' audience. It puts God ahead of govt and leaves very little for the govt. It was sedition against the big govt but was said in a very clever way. its why Pilate had to execute him in a clever way. Big govt does not opposition leaders. Big govt does not like those who think for themselves. Socialist govts frequently evolve to eventually kill those who believe in God and inalienable rights.
No where in "Pay your taxes" is their a message of: "Go forth ye into the land and multiply thy government into a behemoth of corruption and lies, steal from thy productive neighbor and giveth to thy lazy neighbor" You're simply interpreting it to suit your narrative. And you've given yourself a lot of leeway in that interpretation. Can I assume you have no specific scriptures to back up your argument?

They have not evolved from tadpoles or fish. Like I said they have been humans all of their lives. The only evolving I've noticed from the grand kids is growing up like other kids, but no fish or tadpoles. The young one does love the water though.
I think what you and leap are trying to ask is do I believe in evolution and specifically human evolution and the answer is yes to both of those questions. Where you came up with choice between fish and tadpoles is puzzling, I'm guessing it's bible related.
Which is what Jesus taught. He tried to show people the way of the moral path using fables and parables, and told them regretfully when he saw evidence that they would not listen, that they were doomed to miss out on Heaven.
