    Al Roker’s man crush on Vice President Biden took a new and unusual turn on Friday’s Today.

    Speaking with co-hosts Natalie Morales and Willie Geist, the NBC weatherman (jokingly?) expressed his desire to, “make the pitch [for Biden to co-host Today] wrapped in a box. I'm going to deliver myself on the front steps. Big bow in a box. He's going to open it. Mr. Vice president.”

    ABC This Week viewers were treated to a classic conservative versus liberal debate Sunday.

    When former Clinton labor secretary Robert Reich tried to blame the increase in poverty in the past five years on Republicans, former Speaker of the House and current CNN host Newt Gingrich called it "baloney" firing back, "Every major city which is a center of poverty is run by Democrats"

  7. good point. I was listening to an economic historian. he made the point, the "founding fathers" were dealing with a strappling school child, trying to compete with the Big Bully England. By the time Reagan came along we were the strongest kid on the block. Now, we are abut 26 years old, and it's time to get off our parent's insurance policy.

    a lot of this conservative mind set and conspiracy theories is nothing more than mothers suffering from empty nest syndrome

    Earlier this morning, Joe Newby at NewsBusters posted on the Denver Post's scrubbing of the word "socialist" from a fellow student's description of Karl Pierson, who police say shot two other students and then took his own life at Arapahoe High School on Friday. The Post story originally said that classmate Thomas Conrad described him as "a very opinionated Socialist." Sometime later, the Post watered the description down to "very opinionated" without telling readers what it had done.
