Liberal "logic"? 1) Even though the 2nd amendment specifically prohibits ANY infringement, very few actually propose NO gun regulations. 2) Have I mentioned we already have 22,000 federal state and local gun regulations? If they're not working, why not repeal a few thousand of them? 3) Do traffic laws prevent drivers from breaking traffic laws? You EVER broken a traffic law? 4) Laws, in general, do not prevent crimes. They merely give the state a reason/permission to prosecute the offenders after the crime is committed.
No, you didn't answer. I asked you how you would get all of the handguns out of circulation, since you wanted to ban them. You NEVER answered. You simply said "how did Australia do it?" And then when I pointed out the differences and asked you for how you would address the problems, you said "I Didnt say all guns!" and began foaming at the mouth. Face it, you can't answer because you have no idea how you would solve the issue of criminals not participating in your buyback. And to your absolutely absurd JPEG about why have traffic laws and the like, that's because those who follow the traffic laws aren't in a distinct, life threatening disadvantage to those who don't follow them. You are once again confusing security with legislation. You can create a secure environment on an airplane through application of proper security. You could do this at schools too, but no one ever seems to want to discuss that. You cannot, however, secure the United States because the country already has millions of guns in circulation. And you, personally, STILL have not shown a way to solve that. FAIL.
