Now there are suspicions the women were paid to make up stories. As James Carville used to remind us, if you have no ethics and are willing to spread money around, you can get people who will say pretty much anything. At one time in our country, only a scandal sheet would publish this kind of unsubstantiated long ago memory. Now it's the WashPost, a paper that never had much in the way of ethics and now has totally abandoned any pretense of it. What they do must be laid at the evil Bezo's feet. And as I stated in another thread earlier this week, whether or not a decision to prosecute would have any impact on the election is of absolutely no concern to law enforcement. None, zero, nada. Admitting that he was concerned is demonstration that he had a political motivation behind his decision. This is why Trump fried his ass and with just cause. FBI Directors are not supposed to play political favorites. Neither are AG's. Clearly that is exactly what happened here.
