http://search.barnesandnoble.com/booksearch/isbnInquiry.asp?z=y&EAN=9780965046152&itm=2 Can someone who has read this book tell me if it was worth the $150 price tag? I was searching for his book on trading VIX reversals but it's out of print. Neither of these are reviewed here at ET. Perhaps someone could suggest another book that explains strategies using the VIX for signals? Thanks.
You can get it for about $100 used on Amazon. Or $120 if you join some B&N club or something. Why not search inside the book at amazon to see if you think it's worth getting?
The Connors on Advanced Trading Strategies isn't a bad book. Its systems are however outdated. His early books started out with some nice trading ideas. The VIX reversals no longer work. Avoid!!! Just look at the VIX today vs when the book was written 5 years ago. BTW: You can find both in PDF format on the net if you know where to look.
