    Hi everybody,

Today TWS got disconnected several times, and orders on the CME took almost 1 minute (through IB) to get filled . However, I don't think it's a problem with IB. Anybody else experiencing connection problems? By the way, I'm living in Europe.

    Regards,

TWS is working fine for me in Idaho - trading stocks though. Good luck. I did have a little trouble with Quicken Quotes Live though.

  3. IB's fine today. TWS is rock solid as has been since that last spate of problems 2 weeks ago when they rolled out version 764

Are you using version 762.1? The newest version is very problematic.

I think it's a problem with my provider, because my browser is also deadly slow and none of you guys in the States seem to have any problems.

    Thx

Go and download Ping Plotter (pingplotter.com). It does a traceroute to your destination and will show you graphically all the routers in your path and you can set alarms if the delay gets over your brokers threshold for response times. For Realtick I think that's 250ms.

As an ex computer networking guy I really appreciate the information so I know who to blame. Caught BSouth's router going offline the other day, otherwise I would have blamed my broker or Rtick. You can also do a lookup to see who owns the router via their IP addresses so you can map out your entire path, very, very, cool.
