No. There has been no explanation for the banning of my Thunderdog user name. None. Gabfly1 was banned after I had unfortunate words with the moderator of the Journal thread, precipitated by my taking surf to task for being overly obtuse. It was not with Joe that I had unfortunately spoken out of turn.
He is fixated below the waist. All of fightclub has noticed this. He also has an irrational disdain of gay people. I really do think Luke is in the closet.
Please don't be insulting. One of the many differences between me and Newt is that I don't make shit up. I merely point to it and call it for what it is. If anything, that's anti-Newt.
Yeah, Magna has some pull. For awhile we were doing the "edited for accuracy" thing down here. Several of us got PM's and they were from Magna, so we had to chill, even tho this is not his forum. I think we are the only forum where there are multiple mods watching over us Anyways Brass, you have a very sharp wit and sometimes that does have a price. I am quite happy they let you back in. 377, whom I thought had thick skin, is your first casualty of war, may you have many others.
Newt is the best attack dog in politics. I knew Mittens would rue the day he crossed him. You don't fight dirty, granted, but you do fight to win.
I didn't realize that Brass was the reincarnation of Gabfly. Are you sure about that? Gabs had a certain faghag quality to his posts, an effeminate character that was clearly exhibited. I didn't detect that attribute in Brass, just a consistent and vacuous lack of content to his posts. Heavy on the insults, light on the openmindedness and reason. It is the main reason that I like Ricter. He approaches his posts with reason, logic and an open mind. Only after all of that has failed does he bring out the heavy artillery. I find myself hoping this morning that Ricter does not take a powder. I simply like the guy, can't help it. The truth is that when SouthAmerica posts I almost lose my mind and generally react badly. We all have someone that gets under our skin. If Ricter decided he needed to fire from cover I'm not going to rag him for it. From here forward I will never mention sock-puppets and will never employ that against him.
