Is it really that wrong that Congressman Allen West committed war crimes to protect his troops. I mean if it saved their lives it's ok.
You stupid lowlife POS, who the hell are you to pass judgment on him for that? Do you have any idea what the circumstances were or the PC bullshit our military's hamstrung by? Or the context of having served in combat (or even served) yourself? If this was so egregious why's he a congressman now, idiot?
If you asked more specifically, "Why is he a Republican congressman now?" then the question answers itself.
To be fair to AK he is a civvie, and the code IS different. It is not right or wrong, Im just sayin. Col. West did right by his men, which is what any commander would do. People who do not have involvement do not know that our military fights with one hand tied behind it's back, and has been since Vietnam. Just sayin, 666. As I grow older, I am beginning to understand the wisdom behind civilian control of our military.
It could, a lot of my AA friends reflexively put him in the house, but, I think West is a paleo-liberal, as someone here put it. So is Gen. Powell. Powell endorsed Obama because he realized the GOP today is not the GOP he joined. The GOP he joined would have included Martin AND Malcolm! West has not gotten the memo.
Isn't is downright fascinating how the very people who dance on the periphery of racism, right on the edge of the envelope, are the ones who relish pointing fingers. It reminds me a lot of guys who fart and then blame the other guy.
You can't absolve him for this with words or smileys: http://www.elitetrader.com/vb/showthread.php?s=&postid=3430995#post3430995
