  1. Samson would you please elaborate a bit on how you do approach the game. Do you beat it consistently? Ive studied all forms of gambling but never baccarat as I did not think an edge was possible.

  2. Easyrider

You might not like my answer but it is the best way to play imo.

95% of gamblers lose money on any given day this is a fact.

Baccarat players are a very unique bunch, they tend to follow streaks and they tend to be very consistent winners and losers don't ask me why they just are also the majority of Bac players are Asian and gambling a big part of their culture, they approach the game very differently then Americans or any one else for that matter. They have lots of superstitions and individual styles that are mostly designed to capture large trends and they do very well at times and under certain circumstances.

This is all a massive generalization I know but none the less a reality in the Casino's.

So here is the point !

If a table is winning (in general) follow the table (or the most aggresive/consistent player), most of the time all the players will be beating the same side ie: Banker.

If the table is losing FADE the worst player consistently.

This is my main strategy I will always look for the guy that has lost his focus and concentration and is just playing stupid because he is on a losing streak and betting out of emotion.

Match him proportionately, bet for bet because it will always be his bigger bets that destroy his bank roll.

This is the general way that I play although there are a lot of personal nuances to it that need to come with experience it is very successful.

Now before you all jump on me and call me a nasty guy, if the guy has lost a substantial amount of money and I have made a substantial amount from fading him, I will always approach him and tell him what I did and offer to give him some of my winnings with one condition!

He not play again for at least one day with what I give back to him.

This is an ART not a science, so I can not give you specific rules of engagement but I can tell you that I have played like this for over 10 years and it has been very fruitful.

Baccarat is the best game in the Casino because of this ability to FADE losers or Ride winning tables or players.

Play the man not the game, this is the same way I approach poker or any competitive sport.

  3. Im still a bit confused. How can he "play stupid"? There are no decisions to be made are there? You bet on the bank or the player before the cards are dealt and the rest is automatic isnt it? I can see fading someone who is on a losing streak but Id rather have some math in my favor before I put my money on the line.

  4. As you mentioned earlier there is no mathematical edge that can be achieved (as far as I know) so in lue of that use the mathematics of the casino edge to your favor.

By fading any player in Bac you have in effect turned into the Casino.

Like I said this is an ART not a science but I can tell you that I have 8 wining sessions to every 2 losing sessions with this kind of approach, it just takes discipline and patience for the right conditions.

  5. It will make a lot more sense to you if you go and observe the game for a minimum of 50 - 100 hours with this mentality.

You will see patterns develope that are very similar to those presented in the market.

It's all human emotion at the end of the day that makes the difference but this is especially obvious with gambling.

  6. Sounds right. The baccarat story is thrown in to divert the sucker's attention from bright "trading".

    Congratulations from nononsense

  7. With an 80% edge I think I would move to Las Vegas. Since you are paying the house 5% each time you fade the player I cannot see why they would ever ban you.

  8. I did I lived there and survived on nothing but gambling for 2 years it was an amazing experience. I was a lot younger then (7 years ago) and the lifestyle wore me out as I was single at the time. :D

  10. Trading is very different but there are a lot of similarities between the two in certain ways.

TA is really nothing but a visual representation of trading decisions, made by market participants and some of those decisions are emotional and some are well planned.

The best way to trade ... is to PLAN to take advantage of those emotions, this creates edge.
