  1. HEY BOB, congratulation ON MAKING THE TRADER MONTHLY MAGAZINE TOP 100 BEST TRADERS IN THE WORLD. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK. HERE'S THE ACTUAL ARTICLE ON THE WEB SITE:

    Bob Bright

    City: Las Vegas
    Firm: Bright Trading
    Age: 65

A senior statesman among prop traders, Bright still lights it up. The NYSE-listed equities market has always been his sandbox (he dislikes Nasdaq market makers), though he dabbles in futures an adoptions, mostly equity indices. Lately, he has been employing a pairs-trading strategy. "He's thrilled over the NYSE merging with ArcaEx – it's a big win for prop trading," says his brother, Don. When he's not trading, Bright scours the Strip for a baccarat table from which he hasn't been banned. He also owns Bugsy Siegel's 1933 Packard limousine.
    Estimated income: $15 - $20 million

How does Trader Monthly Magazine estimate how much a trader makes? Do they have access to audited financials? Sounds like a big number, but I have no reason to doubt it.

  3. Congratulations to Bob Bright. Although I have no way
of knowing this, I believe the income estimate to be accurate.

  4. dude makes 80k a day NET (trading?) day in day out?

Why do they bother hustling for newbies if the money is rolling in that fast and easy?

Maybe 80k aint what it used to be.

    Just asking.

  5. Who cares if the number is accurate, bottom line....dude a baller!

Umm, thats probably from his ownership in Bright Trading. Another words, he is probably making millions off the commish from you guys.

  7. I am curious about the baccarat comment. There is no skill involved and the house takes a rake. How can you beat this game? I know he is a card counter but Ive never heard of any counting strategies for this game. They probably meant blackjack.

  8. If you're a high roller and (close to) break even on baccarat, you still get all the casino perks and freebies.

  9. Bob I saw the article and also some interview on CNBC talking about you.

I wanted to say CONGRATULATIONS on the recognition of your success!

As a fellow Baccarat lover and avid gambler it is nice to see someone else approach it in the same manner that I do, although I'm 20 years younger and I'm sure you could teach me a thing or two about Bac. :D

Your brother also commented on your card counting skills which I have also enjoyed until recently, too many counter measures to make it worth the effort anymore.

Any how congratulations again and maybe one day we will meet at the bac table.

    :)

  10. i would bet that either his net worth or what bright made in overides charging the highest commissions of any prop firm i've seen. hey if you can get it why not
