Congradulations Democrats...you got healthcare passed, but who is going to treat you?

  1. The bill tries to close a double dipping loophole in Medicare payments and Dr. Jack Cassell calls it a cut and that "the government wants people to die slowly". When asked about the details, he said he doesn't know the details and that "I am not the guy who wrote the plan".

Thank god you don't have this guy as your doctor and thank god he didn't write the plan.

Dr. Jack Cassell = Dr. Jackass.

  2. Past history shows these movements (which, by the way were not true socialism, but authoritarianism with holiday wrapping), to be nothing more than further enslavement and loss of personal liberty.

I talked to people that grew up in the Soviet Union, they said that the doctors didn't give a shit about the patients. They talked of people leaving the hospital with bloody bandages and all sorts of horrible stuff... when the Soviet Union finally collapsed they were so non-health conscious that a Coke vending machine had a single cup and everybody drank from it. Disease was spread via that, the people in charge did nothing about it...

  4. It makes one wonder whether getting into Med school will be as highly prized as it once was.

  5. The guy's a moron who is cutting off his nose to spite his own face.

    1) the guy is Urologist

    2) the vast majority of Urology patients are elderly.

    3) the vast majority of elderly are on Medicare.

    4) Medicare reimbursements are being cut.

    5) Therefore certain medical specialties such as his are finding their revenue from practice seriously reduced.

Given those facts he is still willing to alienate a certain percentage of his practice in exchange for a political statement. And he even freely admits that he's ignorant of the contents of the new health care laws.

The guy is either of complete idiot or more likely, and this is my guess, that this was a calculated move in order to generate sufficient publicity to create a certain amount of name recognition to launch a political career. Because his medical career is all but over.

I'm guessing this doctor would treat an accused terrorist just so he could live long enough to be properly executed without a fair trail...

  7. Most of the soviet people lost pride in their once great nation...

Not much different than today in America, where we see a lack of national and personal pride in both the public and private sector...

You people are taking this seriously?

Its about as real as a tax on tanning beds? Strike that
Its about as real as forcing people to pay for medical insurance? Strike that

Its about as real as President Obama's current license to practice law.
