  2. Relax BS - - some of us moving beyond the election now. Looking for a way out or a course change. Something is going to happen out of Washington I say.

    As for W, he's all we have right now in our system. Congress out of session after working a record 103 days this last year. :(

  4. Yeah Bit -- middle that got pushed lefter than usual.

    There's a lot of people that are waiting to hear some kind of compelling argument for us to get out in 07 that addresses our fear that if we do, it will get way worse in Iraq, or across more of the ME, and it will all have been our fault as Americans.

    Is this result inevitable if we leave? I ask this because it looks like adding troops and trying to restore order is a non-starter politically.

    Does anyone here have some real alternatives to discuss?

  5. If we leave, and still focus our attention on the ME, then yes, the result will be inevitable for the “I told ya so” crowd.

    If we leave and refocus our attention somewhere else, nobody will give a fuck.

    Either way, the beat goes on.
