  3. Confession #12:

Does anyone remember the troll fellow sKaLpZ from a few years ago? Sometimes I wonder what and under what alias he's up to these days?

I couldn't imagine that there were so many INTJs on ET. I have just started day trading this year, am profitable, and make enough money to live on so long as I am not too fussy about what I eat.

INTJ's occur only about 1% in the general population.

For those unfamiliar with Myers-Briggs types I recommend

    Spooky accurate.

I notice that I am an INTJ and almost all my friends are too. I notice most all traders seem to be INTJ. Either the 1% figure is off or INTJ's tend to cluster together around narrow interests.

bwo: OP is the real thing.

He's got it right the first time and everytime after that. Only trades with IB, never had to try other platforms. He never had to ask for information even when he was just starting out. Discuss strategies ? Are you kidding ? Please note on another thread I started I practically beg for information repeatedly, and I have been trading over 10 years. He's made his fortune trading stocks only. According to his recent posts, he doesn't even trade beyond noon time ! Amazingly he's called the right stocks everytime as he doesnot do any trade management ( go back and read: I seldom even trade past noon time ) because pf no need.

  7. explains your motivation to start this thread. everything about it from word one of the first post is contrived fantasy. down deep, you know that but feel nothing. enjoy your beer or eight with your other pathological friend who can feel no remorse or nothing else either

I am INTJ, and the description fits very well.

Without introverted intuitives, it is said that Israel would have had no prophets. Under deceptively conventional appearances lie perceptive minds that travel the breadth and depth of universal mysteries, contemplating its multilayered complexity, seeking the trends that will define the future. With time, clarity of vision comes. When it comes, they are propelled towards the vision and all their actions lead to it. They are perseverant behind a quiet exterior and will often come back with their vision long after everyone believes they have let it go.

What they see is so clear and obvious to them they are often surprised to find that others cannot see it as well. They may find it difficult to articulate the necessary steps towards implementation or to explain how each goal fits into the larger picture.

Their mind usually travels from the past to the future, seeking to fit a particular situation in a large context. It picks up patterns, symbols and images from different seemingly unrelated fields, identifies similarities and provides meaning. This can help solve problems by juxtaposing ideas, finding analogies or simply by rooting out the quintessential reality, discovering the origin in universal stories and human experiences, culling wisdom from the infinitely small to the infinitely large. Their mind naturally travels from the microcosm to the macrocosm.

They regularly have to face the difficulties of bringing dreams into reality. The time and effort it takes is always more than what their intuition initially suggested. They are determined, perseverant, inspired and often see things just around the corner, into the near or far future.

  9. Confession #14: three years ago, things were going so well with stock trading, i thought i should try to expand the business by branching out into futures. This has cost me a shitload of money as quite apparently I'm not worth a damn at it. I can't explain why as of Friday, I was still doing it, I guess the same reason I like to play blackjack and craps. I think I'm finally going to give myself a big raise and quit all futures.

  10. Confession #15: I'm secretly annoyed by people who think that b/c they can't do something, no one else can either. I'm not sure if this is one of my INTJ traits or not :)
