I have decided to call this journal thread a RAP. I came on board to develop some discipline in this account, and I have actually decided to close it and focus on my real job which is trading a hedge fund focused on a specific market sector and geography. This was an account to express my global macro thoughts, and I close the account with a 3.7% profit after 14 months. It is by no means impressive albeit an out performance of the S&P500. I am happy to say that my real job returns have been significantly superior. All the best to you guys on ET. Mick
Cheers and all the best. It is better to focus on the big cheese, but sometimes it makes sense to take a little detour (these often generate losses, preferably tiny ones...) if for no other reason than perspective/clarity or to learn something new
