Subject: The story of my gun... Today I swung my front door wide open and placed my Remington .30-06 right in the doorway. I left 6 cartridges beside it, then left it alone and went about my business. While I was gone, the mailman delivered my mail, the neighbor boy across the street mowed the yard, a girl walked her dog down the street and quite a few cars stopped at the stop sign near the front of my house. After about an hour, I checked on the gun. It was still sitting there, right where I had left it. It hadn't moved itself outside. It certainly hadn't killed anyone, even with the numerous opportunities it had presented to do so. In fact, it hadn't even loaded itself. Well you can imagine my surprise, with all the hype by the Left and the Media about how dangerous guns are and how they kill people. Either the media is wrong or I have in my possession, the laziest gun in the world. The United States is 3rd in Murders throughout the World. But if you take out just 4 cities: Chicago, Detroit, Washington DC and New Orleans, the United States is 4th from the bottom, in the entire world, for Murders. These 4 Cities also have the toughest Gun Control Laws in the U.S. ALL 4 of these cities are controlled by Democrats. It would be absurd to draw any conclusions from this data - right? Well, I'm off to check on my spoons. I hear they're making people fat....
If you carry and have the opportunity to save somebody else for having done so, your life is likely in jeopardy at the same time. I recall a few years back in Denver where a couple of punks robbed a pizza restaurant. They killed everybody in the restaurant (I presume to leave no witnesses). Too bad one of the patrons wasn't carrying... might have put a stop to it and saved all of their lives.... same as might have occurred in the SC church shootings.
I didn't mean to imply that I would not help a stranger if I had to. All I meant was that my intent in carrying is to protect myself and my family, not to become an undercover policeman as was implied by the liberal panty wastes in the thread.
No, we get it, the US has an out of control gun culture and the excess of violent crime that comes with it. Some Americans would blame everything under the sun for the crime that surrounds them ( including skin colour apparently ), rather then understand that the guns are a problem. You guys are in real deep on this. Enough Americans now are understanding the problem and the system will eventually change. Your employer obviously understands this better then you do.
Texans are getting the go ahead for open carry but I'd rather conceal and keep the element of surprise right where it belongs... Guns are one tool in the arsenal and I do like the smell of gun oil but I still like pepper spray far better for a lot of situations. If you spray somebody you own them. Guns can be a permanent solution to a temporary problem but if you spray somebody then beat them to a pulp likely they will get the idea and leave you alone next time and possibly alter their ways.
Stupid poster! Can't read the previous post about how removing just 4 cities [full of Blacks] completely alters the stats?
Yes…, and it leaves me in such a quandary Do I…. A.) Pick a rig.., then wear the appropriate wardrobe to match Or B.) Select my clothes for the day – then accessorize with the appropriate rig decisions.., decisions – what is a redneck to do RN
True, but I ripped one of mine a new one because it wouldn't shut up. Who's idea was it to put it in my kitchen, anyway?
