One of these days, I'm going to program the Welles Wilder kit that exposed all of Bruce Babcock's strategies. Or was it the other way around? I forget, but there might be use in those discredited strategies after all this time...
There is definitely money in that "Wilder"ness. I find it kinda hilarious the number of shops and individuals who're all fired-up about algo trading, and not realizing the Wheel that they're re-Inventing goes back nearly 50 years, fercripsakes. So, I tweak and I polish and I ML my way to the best parameters of the day, but the basics? The starting point? It's old, old, old. And carries positive expectancy in 2019. Kudos to you and to DigitalNomad for celebrating those on whose shoulders we (unknowingly) stand.
