  2. 7thdim,

    Were they "Gentle"?

Can you share with us what you have learned from this experience?

Wait your account activation first , then fund it later.

i hope that you give IB enough commissions for being such a nuisance .
hopefully they will not raise their commissions for all the time they have wasted.:D

  5. You owe IB a public apology for all your whining and bashing.

You did not follow simple and clear IB instructions.

Good luck following "your" trading system.

Let us know when you have blown through your $ 4,975.00 and have moved on to other endeavors.

  6. 7thdim,

You are a reasonable man, and that was the answer I would of expected. I knew I was correct about you, but in the beginning I had the wrong impression and was wrong..

You guys, don't beat a man that has learned something. He learned a lot and this thread can serve many folks contemplating opening an account with ANY broker.

ET again is a great resource. Please help this wonderful community to survive. Tell your friends and possible sponsors to support this site.

P.S. I would not be surprised if IB even gave 7thdim's client a few commission-free trades for their extended wait, in an effort to start out on the right foot.

No need commission-free trades. Just need fast executions with stable platform including short selling on European stocks and Nasdaq as well (as mentioned IB's site about shortable stocks on U.S and other markets). :)

  8. Just as I anticipated, he did not apologize for 27 pages of whining. Initial impressions are often the correct one.

Ib is great to trade with. That said, customer service could be better. So far I am happy.

No he didn't. And he'll be back before long with lengthy posts about the next perceived "injustice".
